Gurugram, 16 October (TNN). Another fake call center has been busted by the Chief Minister's flying squad in Haryana late Thursday night. This call center was being operated in Phase-1 of Udyog Vihar in Gurugram.
The investigation team suspects that the owner of the call center is a contractor at MCG.
Police said on Friday that American citizens were cheated in the call center in the name of technical support and charged $ 300 to $ 700 per client service charge. The accused also paid Rs 48 lakh for three months as rent for the building.
Police arrested six people in this regard and seized two laptops, two hard disks, CPUs and other electronic items from them.
