The Indian Army will remain at central to protecting the nationwide interests as India grows in stature and strength, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday.

Speaking on the celebration of Army Day, the minister kept in mind that the Indian Army inspires confidence among the citizenry as it resolutely maintains an unflinching vigil across the frontiers of the nation.

“The Indian Army is getting ready for an improved functional function in attending to the freshly emerging multi domain security difficulties,” he stated in a message that was put out by the Army’s Twitter handle.Singh said the

Army’s response during natural disasters has been exceptional and deeply valued by one and all.

“As India grows in stature and strength, the Indian Army will remain main in protecting our nationwide interests and pursuing our nationwide aspirations,” he mentioned.

The federal government stands securely devoted to the capability advancement of the Indian Army and of the welfare of its rank and file, their households, veterans and Veer Naris (war widows).

“On this day, we pay tribute to our valiant soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the country,” he stated.
