Aryan Khan Drugs Case LIVE Updates: No bail for SRK’s child today, hearing adjourned for Thursday
Image Source: FILE IMAGE Aryan Khan Mumbai Drug Bust LIVE Updates|Bombay High Court continued the hearing for Aryan Khan’s bail plea today (October 27). After the lawyers of Khan, Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamesh concluded their submissions, the HC adjourned the hearing for Thursday. ASG Anil Singh for NCB will react to the arguments tomorrow. Super Star Shah Rukh Khan’s child, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drugs-related case is lodged at the Arthur Roadway Jail with another implicated Arbaaz Merchantt. Whereas, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla ladies jail. NCB has opposed the bail saying Aryan could be connected to a larger drug nexus and giving him bail might lead to tampering of proof and affecting witnesses. Whereas, Aryan Khan’s attorneys declared the NCB is misinterpreting the 23-year-old’s WhatsApp chats with starlet Ananya Panday and others. He also argued that a ‘young man’ like him ought to be sent to rehabilitation instead of jail.
On an associated note, the Mumbai Police informed an inquiry has been initiated to validate supposed extortion claims versus NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede and other officials while penetrating the Mumbai-drugs-on-cruise case.
