Lucknow, July 19: Light to moderate monsoon rains took place at numerous places over eastern Uttar Pradesh and over many parts of the western region of the state Monday, the meteorological department stated, according to a PTI report.

Heavy rain is most likely at separated places over the state on July 20, they said.
Rain or thundershowers are also most likely at many places over eastern UP and at lots of locations over western UP on July 21.
