Congress-led union govt will pertain to power at Centre in 2024: Sanjay Raut jibe at BJP

Speaking to reporters after addressing JS Karandikar memorial lecture organised by the Pune press club, Sanjay Raut said, “No government can be formed without Congress, which is a major and deeply-rooted party in the nation. Congress is the primary opposition party too. Others are local parties.”
Queried about political strategist Prashant Kishor’s reported declaration that BJP will remain in power for numerous decades, Raut stated the BJP will stay in politics but as an opposition celebration. “BJP claims that it is the world’s greatest party. If the world’s most significant party loses elections they will end up being an opposition party. For example, in Maharashtra, the BJP is the primary opposition celebration with 105 MLAs”, he stated.
The BJP’s separated ally Shiv Sena shares power with NCP and Congress in Maharashtra.
Speaking about the upcoming Assembly elections in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, Raut stated, “Presently we are focusing in Dadra, Nagar Haveli, and Goa.
There is still time for UP elections. We are a small gamer in UP but we will contest”.
Previously, attending to the lecture, Raut likewise highlighted various difficulties being dealt with by the media.
“Since the last two years, media persons are not allowed the central hall of Parliament by the ruling celebration citing the reason of coronavirus pandemic. But the genuine reason behind the restriction is worry that numerous things may come out if reporters are allowed to speak with ministers who are being asked to maintain distance from journalists. They(the Central federal government)has asked ministers to keep their range from reporters, even they are under the scanner. Media was not stopped even during Emergency like it is now,”Raut declared. He underlined various difficulties prior to the print and electronic media. Raut alleged the(Central)government just desires beneficial reporting. “After a paper reported about corpses drifting in the Ganga river(throughout the worst phase of the COVID-19 pandemic)the Earnings Tax department raided the offices of that paper, “he stated. He alleged that markets that wanted licenses to run were made to invest in media organisations so that they (the federal government)can control the media. “Leading ten markets have purchased media homes. The federal government lags this,”he alleged. ALSO READ: Lok Sabha bypoll:’Get Joe Biden, we are not scared’, Sanjay Raut taunts BJP ALSO READ: 100 crore vaccination dosages claim ‘incorrect’:
