India condemns civilian killings in Ukraine’s Bucha, calls for independent probe

India condemned the civilian killings in Ukraine’s Bucha city and supported require an independent examination into the matter.Speaking at the UN Security Council conference on Tuesday, TS Tirumurti, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, said, “The security circumstance has only shabby, along with its humanitarian consequences. Recent reports of civilian killings in Bucha are deeply disturbing. We unequivocally condemn these killings and support the call for an independent examination.”
India laid emphasis on humanitarian needs of the Ukrainians. TS Tirumurti said, “We hope the international community will continue to respond positively to the humanitarian needs. We support calls prompting for assurances of safe passage to provide necessary humanitarian and medical materials.”
India also stated its commitment to providing more medical materials to Ukraine in coming days.
“Keeping in view the dire humanitarian circumstance in Ukraine, India has actually been sending humanitarian materials to Ukraine and its neighbours, that include medications and other essential relief material. We stand prepared to supply more medical materials to Ukraine in the coming days,” TS Tirumurti said.Published at Tue
