Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams on Saturday joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bio-bubble after going back with two unfavorable RT-PCR outcomes over weekly after testing good for COVID-19.

The 28-year-old had found its way to Asia on April 3 with a negative COVID-19 report but tested good during second test on April 7 and was at quarantine since then.

“we have been very happy to notify that Royal Challengers Bangalore, all-rounder Daniel Sams, features accompanied the RCB bio-bubble on seventeenth April 2021 with bad reports for COVID-19,” RCB said in a declaration.

“RCB medical staff was at constant touch with Sams to ensure his protection and declared him fit to become listed on the group after all the needed examinations within the BCCI protocols.”

Sams, who had been traded towards RCB this year from Delhi Capitals, is the second player regarding the team to recuperate from COVID-19.

Opener Devdutt Padikkal, who was the greatest run-scorer for RCB final season with 473 works from 15 suits, had earlier in the day restored from the dreaded condition and joined the team after coming back unfavorable.

While Sams missed the first two suits, Padikkal was back in action in RCB’s 2nd IPL online game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which the team won by six works.
