IPL 2021: Virat Kohli fined Rs 12 lakh for RCB's sluggish over-rate against CSK

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli had been fined Rs 12 lakh for his team’s sluggish over-rate against Chennai Super Kings in an IPL game on Sunday.
CSK scored 191 for four and then restricted RCB to 122 for nine, driving on Ravindra Jadeja’s all-round program.

“Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has-been fined after his team maintained a sluggish over price during their Indian Premier League match against Chennai Super Kings within Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 25,” a news launch said.
“As it was his group’s first offence for the season underneath the IPL’s Code of Conduct concerning minimal over rate offences, Mr Kohli had been fined Rs 12 lakh,” it further stated.
Sunday’s beat was RCB’s first of the growing season.
