Prior to the podcast scandal, Mike had to attend to previous harassment and discrimination suits throughout his time as an executive producer on The Rate Is Right. In a declaration to The Wrap, Mike reacted to previous model Brandi Cochran’s lawsuit. Brandi claimed manufacturers presumably bugged her after she exposed she was pregnant and was presumably fired after her maternity leave. “I would not say anything to disrespect anyone’s pregnancy and have always supported my colleagues on their parenting journeys,” Mike said. “During my period, our female cast members invited seven beautiful children. We embraced and commemorated each pregnancy and birth both in front of and behind the cam.” Design Lanisha Cole declared Mike and another producer spoke abusively towards her in a 2011 unwanted sexual advances suit. Starlet Mayim Bialik will host ‘Jeopardy!’ till Nov. 5, and then she’ll split host responsibility with previous champ Ken Jennings through completion of 2021.
Season 38 of Jeopardy! is a-go! The cherished American game program is currently airing weekdays, however without its longtime host Alex Trebek, who unfortunately died in November 2020. “Obviously I was in touch with Mike as he was my boss at that time, and I don’t wish ill on him, or anybody,” she informed Newsweek in Sept. “But the complexity of these situations is not something that can be summed up easily. My first reaction, when all of this went down, was to say to the Jeopardy! group: ‘How can I help? Since I become part of this family.’ “
