Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat Health Facilities Objective, among the largest pan-India schemes for enhancing healthcare facilities, in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. He also inaugurated various advancement tasks worth more than Rs 5,200 crore for his constituency. The Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Facilities Objective is among the largest pan-India schemes for reinforcing healthcare facilities across the country. It is in addition to the National Health Objective. Its objective is to fill spaces in public health infrastructure, specifically in vital care facilities and medical care in both city and rural areas. It will provide assistance for 17,788 rural health and wellness centres in 10 high focus states. Even more, 11,024 metropolitan health and health centres will be developed in all the states. Earlier in the morning, PM Modi inaugurated 9 medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, supercharging the state’s medical infrastructure. He inaugurated the medical colleges essentially from Siddharthnagar. Developed at a cost of Rs 2,329 crore, the medical colleges lie in Siddharthnagar, Etah, Hardoi, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Deoria, Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Jaunpur districts. While 8 medical colleges have been sanctioned under a Centrally sponsored plan for the facility of new medical colleges connected with district or recommendation healthcare facilities, the one at Jaunpur has been made practical by the state federal government through its own resources.
