Rajya Sabha passes bill offering much more abilities to LG; Opposition stages walkout
Rajya Sabha on Wednesday passed the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021, amid views of resistance people walking out in protest. The bill, that has been passed in Lok Sabha on Monday, seeks to make it clear the “government” in Delhi suggests the “Lieutenant Governor”.
