NEW DELHI: The Centre on Monday launched instructions because of its employees, including staggered workplace hours and 50 per cent attendance of officers of standard of Under Secretary and below, because of a surge in COVID-19 situations. All officers for the standard of deputy secretary, equivalent and above are to wait office frequently, a statement given by the employees ministry said.
Physical attendance for the officers associated with the degree of Under Secretary or comparable and the following to-be limited to 50 % associated with actual power, it said.

All officials residing in containment areas shall remain exempted from coming to office till the containment zone is denotified, the statement said.
All officials who attend workplace shall strictly follow Covid-19-appropriate behaviour including using of mask, actual distancing, utilization of sanitiser and frequent hand cleansing with water and soap, it said.
Crowding in lifts, stairways, corridors, common areas including refreshment kiosk and parking areas is usually to be strictly avoided, the personnel ministry said.
The conferences, in terms of feasible, becoming carried out through video-conferencing and entry of outdoors visitors to be curtailed accordingly, it stated.
