Artem Mitin, 35, who owns a ski shop in Dragobrat, told me that since the war, the clientele had changed in obvious ways. Visitors from eastern Europe aren’t coming, nor are larger groups. “It’s not just about skiing,” he said of the people he’d encountered. “I think they come here to forget.”
